Collection, Storage and Use of Personal Information
2.1 Sunflower Dancers does receive and store your personal information for the purpose of invoicing, parent communications, duty of care and specific business promotions, excluding the use of visual images.
2.2 Each device which stores your personal information is password protected.
2.3 Personal information stored by Sunflower Dancers is restricted to: parent/s name/s, dancers name, phone number, email address and medical information about dancers that is necessary for duty of care responsibilities.
2.4 Sunflower Dancers will not obtain, save or use any photographs or videos of dancers for promotional purposes, including printed material, websites or social media pages produced or administered by Sunflower Dancers.
Respecting Your Privacy
1.1 Sunflower Dancers fully respects your right to privacy and is committed to keeping all your personal information safe and secure. We believe in handling our dancer’s personal information with respect and care. Our dancers are very important to us and we treat them with consideration and thoughtfulness.
1.2 Your personal information is any information we hold that is identifiable as being about you.
1.3 Sunflower Dancers will not share any personal information about our dancers to third parties without their permission.
Social Media
3.1 The privacy of personal information transmitted through social media platforms is difficult to guarantee. Therefore, Sunflower Dancers encourages the submission of personal information through our Enrolment Forms, emailed or in person. Any printed forms containing personal information that is submitted in person will be scanned and stored electronically. The original printed material is shredded and composted.
3.2 While parents, dancers and the public can message Sunflower Dancers and other dancers through social media platforms, it our policy to restrict our contact with dancers and their parents to email, SMS and phone.
